During one of the many times my privacy has been invaded in the bathroom my almost 4 year old (4 on Monday) asked me quite nonchalantly "Mommy...Where is your penis?" Here is the rest of the conversation:
Mommy: "I don't have a penis."
A: "Why not?"
M: "Because I'm a girl and girls don't have a penis. Girls have vaginas."
A: "Mommy you have a gina?"
M: "Yes I have a vagina."
A: "Ooooohhhhhhhh"

While cleaning out our closet we came across another 12 year old piece of history dating from the 1992 Election. I suppose the concept may have been around before that but that is when we acquired this beautiful bit of paper.

So it was even better than originally thought, What is better than finding out your car is really messed up and then finding out it will cost you alot less than you thought? The answer is finding out it will cost you even less than quoted! $124...I can't complain....I think I found a trustworthy mechanic in Longmont.

"Enemy At the Gates" is the BEST movie I have seen in a long while. Scary but GOOD!!!! Of Course Hollywood made it what it is and the casualty of Sasha was alot but in real life the love interest would have been dead as well...not to mention the chances of finding a loved one after the horror of the time. Watch it! It is a bit depressing though so BE AWARE.

Thank you Car Gods for not totally fucking my car beyond my financial capabilities to repair it, and not so many thanks for making my husbands car start acting up the moment I find that my car is not as screwed as I thought.

It is a coil. A $47 dollar part but after paying for a half an hour check (what ever happened to free estimates?) and another hour of labor it will be $180. I am fine with that because I was thinking it was something major that would cost a grand. Now I am just hoping I can find a ride to pick it up when it is finished. I may get my beer today after all. Riks car is hopefully just a faulty thermostat but we have to figure out where the hell it is located to try to fix it. I am so not mechanically inclined.

The travel business is starting out to be the same today. Had to arrange for a $1900 dollar credit to be given for a client that was threatening to stop all payments on a group tour worth $9220. I think I have made her happy but my MIL needs to be checked for Alzheimers.

Another day of craziness in the travel business. I spent alot of time in front of this computer today to the point of headachiness. I found out my MIL booked one of our parties of 4 on a May 1st trip and they have plane tickets to Holland for July 10!!!! See I always worry I will do something like this but the difference is I don't ever end up doing it. I am just hoping we can fix it properly. Will find out tomorrow. On another WHY ME note my car is really fucked up. The pick-up is bad (I used to be so proud of how fast I could pass people when just starting out!) and it is rattling. It smells awful after being driven for any amount of time. I am freaking out cuz it sounds and smells just plain bad. I am thinking engine bad. I hope I am wrong but this is a gut wrenching feeling I have that it is going to cost me a buttload of money I don't have that will accrue a ton of interest by the time I pay off my already outrageous credit card bills. So tomorrow it goes to the shop and I get to be without a car all day or more depending on fixing time....Not that that is horrifying but it is Spring Break here for the kids which means stuck home with no way to escape the cabin fever. I would go get some beer for tomorrow and try to have a relaxing day but I would end up drinking it all tonight knowing me. Ok I will stand up and step away from the pity pot now...

Tired but not sleepy....I am so sick of watching TV, or a DVD, or crocheting, cooking, and cleaning. Sick of feeling I need to DO SOMETHING to get any excitement out of life. Maybe that doesn't make a whole lot of sense....but I just want to say "I am tired of today...time for lights out".... No extra brain activity required.....but that is not reality. I am kind of PO'ed in general now....not really geared at anyone....just PO'ed. I guess I need some excitement aside from the hectic everyday humdrum of life. Alot of people would say I am lucky I have a family, and people that love me....and they are right... but it doesn't mean I don't have moments that I don't feel fulfilled.............

{edit 5 minutes later} rereading that I see how contradictory it is... but yet it is true. Need of excitement and livliness.... yet need of turning off the brain when I need it to be turned off. Life is so complicated sometimes....

Since nobody else decided to adopt the Pirate Fetus I will! I am just hoping it is a Johhny Depp or Orlando Bloom fetus!
